April Fools!

Yoo!


Another wild week on the mission. So much crazy stuff has been going on. Each week has been flying by and it so crazy that I've been on the mission for almost three months now for real! 


The first crazy thing of the week is that we got snow again. It just wont leave us alone. Also, me and my companion installed a fire alarm in our apartment after a whole transfer of being pestered to do it, so that was hype haha. 


The easter program went great this sunday! The practice was a complete train wreck but some how it turned out really good haha. Me and my companion were the whole show becasue we had like 10 speaking parts almost. For easter dinner we went to our bishops home. We ate delicouse food and did a easter egg hunt haha. We got so many eggs. We tried to dump them and run so the kids could have them but they chased us down while we were driving away and thorugh a bunch in our truck bed. Dang truck bed! Those kids are trying to make me gain weight, I gained a pound this week. They ruined my cut haha.


I also go to do exchanges easter night and the next day with our Zone Leaders. I hid all the eggs we got and set up a easter egg hunt for my ZL when he came over. It was so hype. We re-hid them all for my comp when we gets back and hid them really good haha.


The exchage was so good. I got to learn so much from my ZL, he is a great example. I also set up a April fools prank on him with our dinner appointmen that night. Only the dad could be there, the whole family went to the beach. So I told him to pretend like his wife and kids left him, he played it so good. He's also really good friends with this Elder becasue he served in my area before me. The prank was so funny and went well haha. Finally, I get to go golfing on P-day so that is hype.


As far as spritual goes, this was a great week. My personal studies are so good everyday. If you have trouble reading the Book of Mormon, just start reading and your will get lossed in it and forget about everything else. It truly is an amazing book! Also, our friend Eboni has started reading the Book of Mormon. God has answered our prayers!


My two favorite verses from the week are in D&C 19: 18 and 3 Nephi 11:11.


 18 says, Which suffering caused my self, even God, the great of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit-and would that I might not drink the bitter cup, and shrink- 
11 says, I am the light and life of the world; and I have dunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have florigied th father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the begining.


I love my savior, even him, who is the literal Son of God, trembled in pain and bleed from every pore for me and you. I know that our savior is that light than can direct us through all the darkness around us. I know that he lives and that becasue of him, death is a door way, not cliff.

Shellom y'all, This has propbably been the most busy and chaiotic week of my mission yet. Between training a new elder, managing 20+ people being taught, 40+ potentials who could be taught, two wards I'm brand new to, high maintainance barely active members, and much more, I have been swamped with things to do. It has been insane! My very first day of the transfer in the Ashton park ward, a person they were teaching called and says she wants to be baptized! LETS GO THAT IS HYPE...however, this has caused so many problems. She has lots of questions and does not want to follow the commandments in the word of wisdom so we cant really baptized her yet. Since then, she has been looking into much anti about our church and wont stop sending it to us. It has been crazy!  Something funny, we went to a mental hospital to visit an inactive member. Go Chiefs!!!!

Well....This was a good week! The chiefs won the super bowl! I was super sad that I could not watch the game, but I am so happy either way. Everyone around me is 49ers fans so I'm the only one happy in my area. This week was not just happy feeling though, it was full of all sorts of feelings. I had to say good bye to all of my District and friends in the MTC. Super sad to say good bye but in the end, we are all where we are supposed to be.  When I arrived in Sacramento California, I was immedietly greated by my mission president and the zone leaders! They are all super awesome and Sacramento is amazing. But I do not get to experience it. I currently am typing in a cabbin. Me and my companion, Elder Bartholomew who is awesome!, got thrown into a area where they have not had missionaries in years! Its called George Town and its way up in the mountains. The members here are so excited that we are here and I have not had to worry about making dinner a single night. I live in the middle...

Shattered Windows

From Mason getting ready for Baptism, from Dominos Mix and Match pizza deals, to oreo coke slurpee's, to breaking our kitchen window with a flag pole, absoutlutely brazy week. Also, to back to back birthday parties, happy birthday mom and kariessa! Thanks to my Mom and my Sister Kariessa for letting me throw a lit party with the other Elders for y'all, the brownies were gas! This week we saw miracles with our friend Mason. He was able to come and watch a baptism with us. The baptism was all in spanish becasue its was the spanish elders baptism, but the spirit was still speaking clear english to us.
