Tranfers!

Yo! What is up y'all?

Welcome back to my weekly email once again. If your new here, I usually do a weekly update on my weight loss program, sometimes un-intentional weight gain program, miracles, and much more. This week has been an amazing week. We saw so many miracles and had made memories.

To start, we did exchanges this week. It was super fun. I got to do them with Elder Warren, he is a dawg. We visited a crap ton of people and were determined to teach someone new that day. We started teaching a hype dude named chase who played college baseball. We had a great connection and he was a dawg. I also got to see a cyber truck, I got pictures with it, so that was hype. Those trucks are lowkey a pinewood derby car and I love it haha. We also ate a box of pizza each from little ceasars for lunch and a huge dinner. I broke my cut for real that day.

I also did 5 hours of service this week. 4 of those being in one day. There are a bunch of trails up and down the dense forest hills and we as a ward were cleaning them up. Me and my companion were in charge of picking up black berry bushes and tree branches that were chopped. We each carried a wheel barrel at least 5 miles up and down hills completley full making several dumping trips. We were so exhausted by the end, with blisters on my feet. It was hype though and we had some fun. We also got to explore a random abandoned gold mine so that was cool.

Me and my comp might be famous. We ran into this really rich liberal who wrights books and hates Donald Trump. It was a crazy interaction. She is a scientist and makes millions. She asked us so many questions and was so interested in what we are doing as missionaries. She wants us to come to her house and ask us more questions. She says she is going to put us in a chapter of a book she is writting. I dont know what it is called but I will have to find out.

Also, it is a big goal to have lesson with members. This is awesome because they can bear powerful testimony and usually people we teach love hearing other peoples perspectives. Me and my companion, had 29 member present lessons this month. As a zone, we had 108 which is supposed to be a mission record. Hype miracles there.

I also got the chance to give a talk in sacrament meeting this sunday. I had to give a 15 minute talk. I have never done that. Brother Almendariz, the first counceler prepared some stuff because he did not think I would fill the time. It actually went over 15 minutes so take that brother Almendariz. Love ya Pa. We also got 2 people that we are taching to come to church. It has been a challenge getting this to happen, it may not sounds like a lot, but it has taken a lot of work to get this done. We also got a family that has fallen away to come back to church this sunday. Hopefully that keeps up less go!

Transfers are this week. So because of this we have been having good bye dinners with members. They are all stressing that me or my comp get transfered out. It's so awesome all the relationships that we have made so far already. We have grown so close to the members!

As far as miracles go, Marci is the miracle of the week! We are having lessons with her every single day right now. Either in person or a video call. She is progressing and is so excited to be baptized this month. She has so much trust in us and has told us how much she loves us and feels she can share anything with us. W woman for real. Before the mission, I was given a 100 bucks from a nice man. He said to give it to someone in need. She lives in a very poor situation. You can see your breathe in her home when its cold, there are holes in her floor that are covered up with rugs, same with the walls. She was talking about how she might get kicked out of her home becasue she can't make payments. The spirit prompetd me to give her the money super strongly. I grabbed the cash and gave it to her. She was in tears and was so thankful! It was so cool to serve her and she is so thankful for the man who made this possible and wants to meet him!

Now crazy news, appearently my area does count the aggressive drivings. I ended with at least 34 agressives in 6 weeks. I wont be driving for a bit haha. Speaking of not driving. I will be in a bike area. We just got transfers news as I am writting. I am tranfering to the sacramento zone! I will be in down town sac for the next 6 weeks at least. This will be a huge adjustment. From the mountains, to the most liberal part of my area, less goo! haha. Bikes are gonna be great for the cut!

Anyways, this was a hype week in the Lords vinyard. My testimony is growing every day, I am so excited for the rest of the mission. Time really is flying, it will be 2 years out here soon the way things are moving. The church is true, I gained 3 pounds this week after losing 4, and the Book of Mormon is also true! Have a great rest of your week.

Peace my brotha's,
Elder Rosie
