Miracles-No Cap No Kizzy
Howdy y'all
This was a great week in the mission field. We saw so many miracles this week and so much happened! From teaching new people while smoking their bongs, to grandmas calling their grandkids to repentance before they die, to people we are teaching that are moving to India that cried while reading the Book of Mormon, miracles are happening.
The first amazing miracle was with our new friends Lucas and Miciah. Me and my comp decided that we were going to make goals and teach someone new on wednesday. While out tracking, talking to every breathing soul, we met these two people. We had a great conversation with them, gave the Book of Mormons, and scheduled another lesson with them! Miciah said she has been trying to grow closer to God and find a church, and we showed up. She says that God has helped her to get off hard drugs. (they were both smoking bongs when we showed up haha). That was a miracle for real.
The next miracle was with a person named Beonca. Met her while street contacting. We had a great convo and then she eventually said. I don't know what church is true. She fell right into the trap jk. I then asked, have you ever asked God? She said no. I continued to tell her the story of Joseph Smith. We set up follow up lessons with her and she is excited to learn more.
The next miracle is with our friend Raghav. He is getting deported right now back to india...suprised California is doing that haha. Anyways, he had a chance to read the Book of Mormon and he loved it. We had a call with him and he said it brought him to tears and he wants to learn more. Missionaries are going to continue to teach him while he lives in India! Less go!
As far as crazy stuff goes, I had to do an exchange with mong elders this week. I spent a whole day teaching lessons in another language. However, I did not say a single word all day, so that was wild. I also crashed my bike this week, pro tip, don't turn around and look at your companion while biking next to a curb, bad things will happen haha. Other than that, it was just straight miracles this week, nothing too crazy.
Anyways, kinda a long email, but a lot happened this week. It's important to keep your faith up in hard times, by doing so miracles will happen. You don't need perfect faith in life, just consistent faith is what God wants from us. This is what I have learned this week. Have a wonderful week y'all!
sib ngib dua (Mong to english is good bye),
