Get Clapped Ravens You Suck! CHIEEFFS!

Shellom y'all,

This has propbably been the most busy and chaiotic week of my mission yet. Between training a new elder, managing 20+ people being taught, 40+ potentials who could be taught, two wards I'm brand new to, high maintainance barely active members, and much more, I have been swamped with things to do. It has been insane!

My very first day of the transfer in the Ashton park ward, a person they were teaching called and says she wants to be baptized! LETS GO THAT IS HYPE...however, this has caused so many problems. She has lots of questions and does not want to follow the commandments in the word of wisdom so we cant really baptized her yet. Since then, she has been looking into much anti about our church and wont stop sending it to us. It has been crazy!

Something funny, we went to a mental hospital to visit an inactive member. It was his birthday. He is also skitzafrenic or however you spell it. He asked how our sunday was, we told him that we had 6 hours of church because we have to cover two wards. His response was, "Double dose of the Holy Ghost". It was so funny. He is a dawg and I cant wait to meet his other personalities lol.

These two areas are abosolutely hype though. We are scheduled to talk about baptism and potentially putting three more people on date for baptism this next week. People are ready to make changes in there life and turn to God here! Also, some crazy rich people live in my area. One dude has a gigantic house. I wanted to pull up, and was about to chicken out. Then I saw the Chiefs game was one through ther giant glass front door. I quickly drove into there driveway and knocked on the door. They are super cool. They invited us in and said we can watch the game, hardest decision of my life, I had to say no!:(  BUT LETS GO THE CHIEFS WON AND ARE GOING TO BE BACK TO BACK TO BACK super bowl champs!! His house was easily a couple million dollars, he invited us over for lunch this next saturday so that will be awesome. He's going to tell me how he got rich, cuz I asked! Also, his next door neighbor is a NBA player for the Kings, his house is even nicer. Definetly gotta knock that door soon.

Training is going awesome. Elder Olsen is a dawg. He is from Eagle Mountain Utah. He has insane doctrinal knowledge and is growing up so fast. Soon my kiddo will give me a grandson! That'll be pimp. We are getting along really well and these next 6 weeks are going to be baller!

Spiritual thought time. (spiritual thought is going to be flipping to a random page in The book of Mormon and see what I get, this verse could not have been more perfect..)

36 Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.

37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

I just flipped to this page randomly, and it has described this week perfectly. If I have learned anything on the mission, it is the power of prayer. God hears and answers our prayers. It is important that we council with the our Father in all our doings. I can promise you that as you do, even into the night, God will direct you for good and will be more present in your life. You will be able to find lasting joy in your life and direction in hard times as you talk with your father. As you make time for God each day and talk to him, he will make time for you, to bring miracles in your life. He is your father, he wants to hear from you!

I love you all and hope you have had a great week. Remember, Jesus Loves You!

Go chiefs,
Elder Rosie
