Tacobell

Wow...This has been a crazy week! I have been Emergency transfered to Hurley in the Carmicheal zone because an elder faked a knee injury and has to go home for surgery. Big L's. Its been a big adjustment moving to a new apartment and having to say goodbye to so many elders I loved. However, the biggest adjustment yet, is that people actulally want to learn the gospel here. This area is super humble and AMAZING. Within my first two days here, me and my new comp, Elder Laferty, just put 3 people on date for baptism. Nothing makes sense haha. This is so hype! LESS GOO!

Other news, my aparatment that I am in right now is super, disobedient and struggling to do missionary work. So its been kind of hard staying dilligent in my new area. Other other news, my mission president called and at transfers, all 3 elders, my new comp, plus the other two elders in the apartment, are getting booted and put in new area's. My mission president told me that I will receive a new Son/trainee straight from the MTC, and to make things more fun, I am white washing two areas at the same time. The Hurley area and the Ashton Park area.............wut the heck. High key stressing out haha. It will all work out though and the Lord is going to teach me some valuable lessons these next six weeks.

My apartment is super fun though. I have probably been to tacobell 4 times in this last week alone with them. It's a blessing and a curse that its just down the street from us. The deluxe cravings box is only  7$ and it is so good. I have a new weakness. (Ether 12:27). Also, I am off bikes so that is so awesome. My back is getting feeling better each day so that is hype. Hopefully I can play basketball soon.

This has been a wild last 7 days, probably the most wild yet on the mission. So much adjustment and so much learning and truly finding out what type of missionary I want to be. My testimony is growing stronger each day and I already love the ward I am in and the people I am teaching. The spirit testifies to me each day that what I am donig is right, and I can not deny the spirit. Anyways, that all folks. Take luck, care for it, love it!

Shellom y'all, This has propbably been the most busy and chaiotic week of my mission yet. Between training a new elder, managing 20+ people being taught, 40+ potentials who could be taught, two wards I'm brand new to, high maintainance barely active members, and much more, I have been swamped with things to do. It has been insane! My very first day of the transfer in the Ashton park ward, a person they were teaching called and says she wants to be baptized! LETS GO THAT IS HYPE...however, this has caused so many problems. She has lots of questions and does not want to follow the commandments in the word of wisdom so we cant really baptized her yet. Since then, she has been looking into much anti about our church and wont stop sending it to us. It has been crazy!  Something funny, we went to a mental hospital to visit an inactive member. Go Chiefs!!!!

Well....This was a good week! The chiefs won the super bowl! I was super sad that I could not watch the game, but I am so happy either way. Everyone around me is 49ers fans so I'm the only one happy in my area. This week was not just happy feeling though, it was full of all sorts of feelings. I had to say good bye to all of my District and friends in the MTC. Super sad to say good bye but in the end, we are all where we are supposed to be.  When I arrived in Sacramento California, I was immedietly greated by my mission president and the zone leaders! They are all super awesome and Sacramento is amazing. But I do not get to experience it. I currently am typing in a cabbin. Me and my companion, Elder Bartholomew who is awesome!, got thrown into a area where they have not had missionaries in years! Its called George Town and its way up in the mountains. The members here are so excited that we are here and I have not had to worry about making dinner a single night. I live in the middle...

From Mason getting ready for Baptism, from Dominos Mix and Match pizza deals, to oreo coke slurpee's, to breaking our kitchen window with a flag pole, absoutlutely brazy week. Also, to back to back birthday parties, happy birthday mom and kariessa! Thanks to my Mom and my Sister Kariessa for letting me throw a lit party with the other Elders for y'all, the brownies were gas! This week we saw miracles with our friend Mason. He was able to come and watch a baptism with us. The baptism was all in spanish becasue its was the spanish elders baptism, but the spirit was still speaking clear english to us.
