My Sister Missionary Mission Begins

Wow...we have a lot to talk about. I would first like to say this crazy thing. I have officially been set apart as a missionary for a total of 6 months now! This may have been the fasted 6months of my life. I now get to begin my sister missionary mission. T-18 months left..

Also, AINT NO WAY SOMEONE TRIED TO ASSASINATE MY BOY AND MY PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP!! Your going to need a lot more than a bullet to take down that man. Your gonna needa whole army. Also, I'd like to give a special thanks to my family for blowing up our family group chat about this all week. I have never wanted to know what was going on in the world than ever before in my life. It was painful not being able to search up on google what has been going on. This world is crazy. Why can't God just lift up all the good leople in the world,  blow it up already, and let the left stay..
Darn, jkjk.

Moving on to the mission life, things are good. Sorry I did not email last week, I got to busy ballin up on P-day and doing other stuff, I did not have time. That is my bad.. Also, hype news, I got my first set of golf clubs on the mission. A member gave me a whole set so I'll be golfing on P-days for real!

The miracels are happening in lakeside. We are teaching more and more people each week. The coolest person that we came across was this guy named Sid. We were trying to find someone we met named Mandy. All I could remember was that her adress ended in 21. So we found a door that ended in 21 close to where we met her and knocked on the door. Mandy did not live there, but SID DOES! We talked with Sid, and appearently he was interested in our church 10 years ago. His wife is of another faith which is why he has never joined our church. We have a lesson with him and his wife next week and it was a hype miracle that we found him. 

Also, we are teaching someone named Rozita and she is on fire! She is feeling the spirit and loves our church. We are going to pop the questions next lesson. "Wanna get baptized?" Hopefully that goes well, it should and we have faith it will! 

We have also been trying to teach a 15 year old who wants to learn about our church and get baptized. Sadly, we can't teach him until we get parents permission because he is a minor. After a month almost of trying, we decided to be bold with him. We told him, that if he wants to learn more, he needs to call us, give the phone to his mom, and well ask for him because he was too scared. Long story short, who knew that someones mom would be happy if there kid wants to grow closer to God? haha. Hes going to start coming to church and she said she will as well!

One more crazy experience. We were biking and we saw someone cleaning out her gargae. We were like, lets go! Easy way to talk to someone about God, lets offer a hand. So, we pulled up and and before we said anything she said, "not interested". We were like, no, we just want to serve you, can we help you clean your garage? She was like, "yes!". Long story short, its not her garage, its her sisters. Her Sister's husband left her and her 3 kids a year ago and her sister has been in a bad place and her house has turned into a hoarders t.v show house. Her sisters words, not ours. We ended up helping her for 3 hours. The smell coming from all the trash and stuff pilled up in that garage was horrible. We were smelling that for days! Anyways, she was super nice, and we are meeting up with her again next week, less goo!

Overall, this was a good week and the miracles keep happening. I can't belive whats going on outside the mission, thankfully I don't have to deal with that suff, I can just focus on God. Here is my favorite verse from the week.

21 Behold, I say unto you that whoso believeth in Christ, doubting nothing, whatsoever he shall ask the Father in the name of Christ it shall be granted him; and this promise is unto all, even unto the ends of the earth.

I know this to be true, God loves all of you. If you have faith in Christ, doubting nothing, he will answer all the questions of the soul. He does this, becasue he loves us and we are Gods children. Shellom y'all, This has propbably been the most busy and chaiotic week of my mission yet. Between training a new elder, managing 20+ people being taught, 40+ potentials who could be taught, two wards I'm brand new to, high maintainance barely active members, and much more, I have been swamped with things to do. It has been insane! My very first day of the transfer in the Ashton park ward, a person they were teaching called and says she wants to be baptized! LETS GO THAT IS HYPE...however, this has caused so many problems. She has lots of questions and does not want to follow the commandments in the word of wisdom so we cant really baptized her yet. Since then, she has been looking into much anti about our church and wont stop sending it to us. It has been crazy!  Something funny, we went to a mental hospital to visit an inactive member. Go Chiefs!!!!

Well....This was a good week! The chiefs won the super bowl! I was super sad that I could not watch the game, but I am so happy either way. Everyone around me is 49ers fans so I'm the only one happy in my area. This week was not just happy feeling though, it was full of all sorts of feelings. I had to say good bye to all of my District and friends in the MTC. Super sad to say good bye but in the end, we are all where we are supposed to be.  When I arrived in Sacramento California, I was immedietly greated by my mission president and the zone leaders! They are all super awesome and Sacramento is amazing. But I do not get to experience it. I currently am typing in a cabbin. Me and my companion, Elder Bartholomew who is awesome!, got thrown into a area where they have not had missionaries in years! Its called George Town and its way up in the mountains. The members here are so excited that we are here and I have not had to worry about making dinner a single night. I live in the middle...

From Mason getting ready for Baptism, from Dominos Mix and Match pizza deals, to oreo coke slurpee's, to breaking our kitchen window with a flag pole, absoutlutely brazy week. Also, to back to back birthday parties, happy birthday mom and kariessa! Thanks to my Mom and my Sister Kariessa for letting me throw a lit party with the other Elders for y'all, the brownies were gas! This week we saw miracles with our friend Mason. He was able to come and watch a baptism with us. The baptism was all in spanish becasue its was the spanish elders baptism, but the spirit was still speaking clear english to us.
