Shellom

Shalom,

This has been awesome couple weeks in the mission. Sorry I have not sent an email, things have been crazy. Last week I spent 45 minutes typing an email the best I could with all the best material and right as I clicked send it deleted everything, my phone is very trash. This week I'm typing it somewhere else and I'm going to copy and paste it so it doesn't do that anymore haha.

We had an awesome miracle the other week, Mason got baptized let's go! He had us really nervous though, he didn't show up the church that day of his baptism I could not relax the entire sacrament meeting. Thankfully he was just running late because he was doing service for someone in their Garden. He hurried home put his suit on and biked to the church in it, he's so lit!I I had the opportunity to baptize him, it was super cool. He told me after the baptism that when he came out of the water a flash of light hit him, it was an amazing baptism, the spirit was so strong.

Other awesome stuff both of my trainees are doing great. Elder Olson is future AP, Elder Havea is also future AP! They are awesome misionaries and we have way too much fun for real. Today for our Zone p-day we had a pumpkin carving challenge me and my comps took the W and got first place. We are Him!

Spiritual thought:
This week we had MLC, it was a really cool experience. My cousin Elder Checketts led a teaching for all of us there. They talked about the difference between Cowboys and Shepards. We know that Cowboys push their animals around and make them go where they force them to go. However, Shepherds lead and guide the Sheep through life. We choose to go where he wants us to go. We learned that sheep will only follow their Shepherd, they know the shepherd's voice. There's a reason why we refer to Jesus Christ as our Shepherd. It's amazing that God sent us here to Earth and trust us enough to follow his son Jesus Christ. I know that even though life can be hard and challenging and there are lots of choices to make God knows that we can always follow him and return to him. No matter how many mistakes we make or times we may fall astray from the shepherd's guidance, it's never too late to follow him. This teaching was so eye-opening to me cuz I realized how much love and trust God has for me and for all of his children.

Not a lot going on in this email week, but things are going good and the work is going well. I hope you all are doing good and I hope you all had a great week, see ya bye!
