Nocturnal Homeless People

What is up y'all, this has been an awesome two weeks since my last email for real. Had lots of cool stuff happen. We got two baptisms this last week, one with Daphne and one with David. David Low key stressed me out, he was 20 minutes late to his own baptism. He forgot his underwear!! Also the speakers for his baptism we're also late by about 15 minutes. Craziest baptism ever. Other hype news, I got a Bidet (Booo-Day)?? Our friend gave us two for free cuz we are chill like that. 

They are insane! Hype. 

Things have been really good lately, we took our recently baptized friend to David's Hot Chicken, he loved it. We had a good lesson with him. We are talking him into serving a mission, he's liking the sound of it. He is also super excited to get the priesthood and enter into the temple as well!

Other cool stuff, we got to go on exchanges this week. I got to hang out with Elder Montgomery, he is a tank of a missionary. I got to learn a lot from him and we had an awesome member dinner that night as well. Our members taught us deep doctrine and church history for an hour straight, I learned so much stuff it is insane. Super cool night. 

Crazy stuff, a sister in the mission passed out while exiting the car. We were on our way to service when the sisters called us and were like, “she passed out, what do we do!” So we rushed over and I got to play Doctor for a bit, jk not really but kinda. It was kinda scary cuz she was out for a while and was in shock. We gave her a blessing and helped her to calm down and relax until help came. Crazy experience, I keep having these on the mission. Other cool stuff, I got to kick a dude off the church property, he was homeless. I got to give him credit, he had a pretty cool fort going, but sadly it was not a good look with it covering up the sign with Christs name on it. We had a good talk, he's nocturnal and does not sleep at night. Also, he's the most powerful person and most spiritual person in the whole world he says. Also, God told him to build a fort at our church and led him there, very nice guy. I want to be like him one day! California is something lol moment! 

As far as spiritual goes, things have been really good. The other night I prayed that I could get some help to recognize the spirit and hear it's prompting more. I prayed that he would help me to be a better missionary and leader for those around me. Since then, the spirit has been speaking to me! I have felt an insane boost of spiritual power, God has answered my prayers. I love God. We have been seeing so many cool miracles and I am blessed to be in the area that I am. We have so many awesome friends that are just waiting to get in the font. Miracles are happening all the time. I have been in lessons and the spirit has been helping me to remember scriptures that apply perfectly for people in that moment, that I have never before shared. This has been a huge testimony building week. 

Overall, this has been a good couple weeks. I know that missionary work is where I need to be. I know that I can find comfort in the discomfort of missionary work as I rely of the Savior. As I look unto him, and doubt not, I have no reason to fear. I know that the same is true for anyone who looks unto Christ. If y'all need some spiritual uplifting, hit me up, I'm here for you!
