Two More Sons..
Hello Y'all Shellom,
This has been a good week, Nicholas got baptized!! Woohoo! Hooray! It was a really good baptism, a retired NFL player and former BYU player showed up to Baptiste Nick. He was really cool. He played with Taysom Hill when he was QB at BYU, he was a dawg.
Really cool miracles, Mason who was just baptized, got the priesthood this Sunday, it's gets cooler. There is a member in the ward, he could be the next prophet, he has Parkinson and has the biggest personality and is the biggest spiritual Giant I have ever met. Mason asked him to give him the priesthood. After the blessing, Brother Simmons is his name, he said that he had a dream last night that he would give him the priesthood today. He had no idea that this was happening today. His wife said that he was dreaming and talking in his sleep saying that he was giving him the priesthood. This was one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed. Truly an amazing experience for real!
Transfer news came out. Unfortunately, both of my sons are moving on. Elder Olsen has officially graduated from training, and Elder Havea is getting moved to another area. Crazier, I will be training two more sons this next transfer. On straight from the MTC and another that is coming to the mission because he went home early for knee surgery, so he has to be trained again. More crazy news, I just got made a Zone Leader so this transfer is going to stretch me and I will have to rely on the Lord and pray a lot..
Also, how in the world did KU beat BYU Saturday night, Rock Chalk Jay Hawk K-U! A member in our ward is a huge BYU fan and was so sad on Sunday. He wore all black to church that day to mourn their loss. He a dawg haha. Also, R. I. P. The chiefs. All good things come to an end, if our whole team wasn't injured we would have won. So unfortunate, L's. It's ok though, we will still clap them in the playoffs.
Anyways, that is all for today. Things are going good, little stressed about next transfer, but all will be good. Here is a good verse for anyone that is facing hard times and needs some power from on high to support them.
D&C 6
36 Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.
I know that as we look unto Christ in every thought, doubt not, and fear not, he will strengthen us in all our doings. He will lead, guide, and direct us for good. Not only that, but we can find more joy in life as we make Jesus Christ the center of it! I know this is true and that Jesus Christ can lighten the burdens on our backs to the point that we can't even feel them. I love you all, have a great week!
Peace,
