Wow, what a week. Possibly one of the weirdest and worst weeks of the mission. I have no idea why, its just been weird. Me and all my comps have been out of sync and have no idea why we are going through so much pain lol moment.
However, God is still good. He gave us miracles. We had a great sunday, had lots of friends at church and other cool stuff. I would have crappy weeks like this for the rest of my mission if it means I get one miracle as cool as I am about to share with you once every 6 months. Here it is…

THE MIRACLE: SUICIDE PREVENTION
Just this last week we had a random phone number text us and ask, "what happens if someone ends their life, do they go to hell?" This led to us calling immediately and we did not get an answer, we called two times. Within 15 minutes, we got a phone call back. This person was talking about a friend of his who has a bunch of diseases, one known as the suicide disease. This is because it is so painful. 60% of the people that get it end up killing themselves. His friend has also lost 30 lbs in the last 16 days because it is too painful to eat. We came to find out later in the call that he was the friend. He wanted to end his life. I started to teach him about the priesthood and that he can be healed and supported by Christ during this time of his life. I told him that God loves Him and nothing can separate him from God's love. He does not feel He does or will ever forgive him for his past sins. He does not feel ready to meet God. I told him to give us his address and we will be over to give him a blessing.
We showed up to his house and had a powerful lesson with him. We taught him about the Atonement and about God's immense love for him. He was in a dark place and in deep pain. We gave him council and then gave him a priesthood blessing. In the prayer, I felt prompted to say the words, "I heal you", I know that I was not the one saying that, God was. Immediately after the blessing was done he was so much better. Light was glowing from Him and he was so grateful for our help.
The next day was Sunday and we had told him to come to church. He and his wife both came to church. The first things he told us was this, "I woke up this morning and I am no longer thinking about death, I feel really good today, I feel so much better." The speakers this particular sunday were meant to speak for him. He admits that he came on the perfect sunday, God wanted him here today. After church, I was sitting with him by myself talking with him. He said this to me, "I was going to kill myself yesterday, you saved my life, I mean it, I really mean it". We were both in tears and hugging at this point. I told Him that what he was feeling is God's love and he admitted it too.
I know that God loves all of us. God is in the details of everything and is aware of everyone. I know that Jesus Christ and his gospel has the power to heal, comfort, and lighten the burdens that are placed upon our backs. I can honestly say that I know that Jesus Christ has felt every pain and through Him, and only Him, we can find true and lasting Joy. I love my savior. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
