Merry Christmas!!

What is up! Merry Christmas!

This has been a week, it's been a great week. I'm not going to lie I cannot remember why it was a good week but I know it was. This Christmas day has been pretty fun. We had a good Zone activity but unfortunately an elder in my zone might have tore his MCL today, so that is a big L moment.

Coolest experience of the week will have to go to our new friend Deborah. She is someone, we had our first lesson with her this week, she's worked with missionaries in the past. We're really straight up front with her and we're asking why she wants to meet with missionaries. She said the last missionaries want her to get baptized. We had an awesome lesson on spot and helped her to understand why they wanted that for her. She had no idea but we were able to connect the dots for her and help her to realize the importance of our message that our church holds. It was really cool to see someone feel the spirit, pray with us to ask if it's true, and then know it is true by the end of the lesson. She will be baptized soon, this is really exciting!

Another cool experience is with our friend tamzin. She is getting baptized next saturday! She is super excited to be baptized and is so ready. She's been through a lot in her life but through her meeting with us she's able to find so much peace in the gospel.

Fun fact of the week, Popeyes may have the greatest chicken sandwich ever known. Never order the chicken sandwich meal, only order 2 to 3 sandwiches by itself and it will be the same price as the meal. This will save you a lot of money and bring you a lot of happiness, you're welcome! I will officially be hitting my year mark January 15th of next year so that is insane! That went by really quick!

Spiritual thought:
This week, actually the last couple weeks, I have been doing a deeper study of Jesus Christ. I can say without a doubt that Jesus Christ loves me and you. I have been reading scriptures and watching videos, the Christ child, over and over and over again and each time I gain something new and feel the love of my savior. I know that Jesus Christ loves us and wants to take the pains away from us that we carry with us. He came here to Earth with one purpose in mind, and that was to suffer for us. I've seen Jesus Christ change people's lives in this short year, I know that he can change your life as well. As you turn to Christ and have faith in him and that his atonement works, not just believing in Christ but believing Christ when he says I died for you and suffered for you, it can bring a whole another level of joy and peace in life that you have never felt before. I'm so grateful for this season to have celebrate Christ's birth, it has been a very different Christmas for me, not just because my family isn't with me but also because I truly understand now what it's all about, it's about our savior.

Thank you all for reading this, if you do read this you are a real one, I have no idea if anyone actually does haha. Have a great week to ever just read that! See you bye!
