A Lot Has Happened.....

Oogah Boogah welcome to the weekly,
This has been a crazy couple weeks, my b for not sending an email out, I literally have no excuse haha. I will try to do better and make it a late new year's resolution. Anyways, from canceled baptisms, to broken mirrors, to taking drivers tests, to getting a new companion 2x, to covering three wards now, life is the best!

Story Time:
A couple weeks ago, I was blessed to apply the atonement in my life. I accidentally broke the right mirror of another missionary's vehicle off because a stationary pole hit my car while backing out of a parking space rushing to play basketball one morning. As a result, I lost the privilege to drive for "at least multiple transfers", these are the words of our driving coordinator. Me and him are tight though so I was able to finesse a driving test with him. We met up one day and he gave me a driving test, hooray! I passed the test and he will let me start driving again in 4 weeks, let's go!!!!! He even gave me the broken mirror and said I can give a talk one day on the atonement and I snagged a picture with him holding it, I'll put it below.

Highlight of this week:
I got to go on an exchange with my Pa, Elder Bartholomew, he was my trainer. After almost one year apart, we were comps again. This was literally one of the best exchanges ever, it was just like the good old days. We saw lots of miracles, got a lot done, and had so much fun, baller day.

Crazy things:
I am now in a YSA ward, my new comp is Elder Hill. He is amazing. Unfortunately, another Elder went home so we are now in a trio with his companion who got left behind, he is Elder Hanson. He is a dawg of an elder. We have way too much fun, we have worked around each other before and we are tight so this is a dream come true. I love my companions, the mission is going so well. As a result, we are covering 3 wards right now. I have gained 5 lbs in 2 days with these wards. We have 1 lunch and 3 dinners scheduled for thursday somehow, we are in trouble....pray for us.

Other crazy stuff, Thor's baptism was this thursday!!! More crazy news, his dad cancelled his baptism...2 hours before his baptism. He could not make it to it so he made Thor, the one being baptized, cancel his baptism. It's alright though, he'll be in the font here soon when his dad is not working. God is good and he'll be baptized as he should.

That is all I want to share, a lot more has happened and I know I missed a ton of other random funny and cool stuff, but that's all I got for now. I will end with this though. I am so grateful for my mission. I would not trade this experience for anything. I have learned so much in this short year and I can't wait to see what else the Lord has in store for me to learn for the next half of my mission. My testimony of this Gospel has never been stronger and can not be shaken. I know that Jesus Christ truly is my savior and through him I can find healing, peace, and strength. He can do the same for you. I have seen miracles on my mission and so many cool experiences that I know that God is watching over all his children, numbers them, and knows us by name. I will stand with Moroni and say that "and I, Moroni (Elder Rosenlund), will not deny the Christ" Moroni 1:3. Shellom y'all, This has propbably been the most busy and chaiotic week of my mission yet. Between training a new elder, managing 20+ people being taught, 40+ potentials who could be taught, two wards I'm brand new to, high maintainance barely active members, and much more, I have been swamped with things to do. It has been insane! My very first day of the transfer in the Ashton park ward, a person they were teaching called and says she wants to be baptized! LETS GO THAT IS HYPE...however, this has caused so many problems. She has lots of questions and does not want to follow the commandments in the word of wisdom so we cant really baptized her yet. Since then, she has been looking into much anti about our church and wont stop sending it to us. It has been crazy!  Something funny, we went to a mental hospital to visit an inactive member. Go Chiefs!!!!

Well....This was a good week! The chiefs won the super bowl! I was super sad that I could not watch the game, but I am so happy either way. Everyone around me is 49ers fans so I'm the only one happy in my area. This week was not just happy feeling though, it was full of all sorts of feelings. I had to say good bye to all of my District and friends in the MTC. Super sad to say good bye but in the end, we are all where we are supposed to be.  When I arrived in Sacramento California, I was immedietly greated by my mission president and the zone leaders! They are all super awesome and Sacramento is amazing. But I do not get to experience it. I currently am typing in a cabbin. Me and my companion, Elder Bartholomew who is awesome!, got thrown into a area where they have not had missionaries in years! Its called George Town and its way up in the mountains. The members here are so excited that we are here and I have not had to worry about making dinner a single night. I live in the middle...

Shattered Windows

From Mason getting ready for Baptism, from Dominos Mix and Match pizza deals, to oreo coke slurpee's, to breaking our kitchen window with a flag pole, absoutlutely brazy week. Also, to back to back birthday parties, happy birthday mom and kariessa! Thanks to my Mom and my Sister Kariessa for letting me throw a lit party with the other Elders for y'all, the brownies were gas! This week we saw miracles with our friend Mason. He was able to come and watch a baptism with us. The baptism was all in spanish becasue its was the spanish elders baptism, but the spirit was still speaking clear english to us.
