I Got Hit By A Car... (Not Click Bait)
I know this is late, but happy 4th of July everyone! Yuhh! I did not get an email out last week, things were crazy! But I needed to say that, I flipping love America, back to back world war Champs let's go!
Anyways, here the news:
Last P day, we got the chance to go to the temple! Hooray! My comp and I decided that we wanted to leave extra early so we can go and do baptisms. While on the way there, traffic was heavy. Anyhow, we got reer ended on the freeway. The car in front of us slammed on there brakes late and we could not see in front of them, so we slammed on our brakes, and the car behind us did not, therefore, we got smacked in the tush. Hype! I've never been reer ended before, this was so much fun haha. We good though, no bruises, just a few dings and dents and scratches on our car. You should have seen the other guy though lol. We pulled off of the free way, got his info, and said a prayer with him, he was a dawg. We gonna laugh about this in heaven for real no cap.
Me and my comp had a crazy 4th of July. All we did all day I swear was eat food, it was nuts. We ended the day horribly though. We pulled over for a lesson, when we got back to the car, we started driving, and we got two flat tires. Three holes in each tire. We had to call some elders to barrow a spare tire and we threw two on our car, that was so much fun. Crazy experience. We had to change our tires in the ghetto, so many homeless people and random people just staring at us while we changed the tires, good times.
Speaking of eating lots of food, this cut has not been going well. In fact, while cutting (trying to lose lbs), I gained 7 lbs this week. The members will not stop feeding us, when we think we are safe, they force more food down our throats. Pray for me fr haha, I want a wife one day.
The WORK:
The work has been going so good! We have been seeing miracles. The work has been slow, but this week it sped up, we started teaching 3 people this week. FYI, that never happens. We also had a friend come to church, that is also very rare in Tongan work right now. Serious miracles are happening.
Things have been rough, lots of doors slamming on our face, and just simply not opening. But after a whole week of rejection, God blessed us will all of that in one weekend. We endured, and he made sure those blessing were secured. I know that as we endure trials, God will bless us with more abundance that we can even image. I have seen that to be evident on my mission, in my life, and in the lives of those I have taught.
I love you all, thanks for reading this far, please reach out if I can pray for anything, have a great week!
