Dumpster Diving Miracles

Image
Welcome to the email y'all. This has been a hype two weeks! From zone conferences, to watching people get shot, to texas roadhouse, to dumpster diving miracles, things have been hype! YUH YUH YUH. Anyways, let's get into it. First, my companion faked a knee injury so we had to go to the doctor this week. He's good though haha, I'm taking care of him. For his appointment, we got to drive into another mission so that was fun to leave Sacramento for a few hours. I came to realize how ugly and horrible Sacramento is, so much trash everywhere. It was nice to see a lot more trees and rural areas in the northern mission. I have now been able to visit two other missions while on my mission, the Santa Rosa mission as well. Hype. The Sacramento mission is the best mission though, I dont lie. Me and my companion really wanted to grill. However, we did not have one. Anyways, the next day we found one at the dumpster outside our apartment. God is good. We took it home and cleaned...

I know this is late, but happy 4th of July everyone! Yuhh! I did not get an email out last week, things were crazy! But I needed to say that, I flipping love America, back to back world war Champs let's go!  Anyways, here the news: Last P day, we got the chance to go to the temple! Hooray! My comp and I decided that we wanted to leave extra early so we can go and do baptisms. While on the way there, traffic was heavy. Anyhow, we got reer ended on the freeway. The car in front of us slammed on there brakes late and we could not see in front of them, so we slammed on our brakes, and the car behind us did not, therefore, we got smacked in the tush. Hype! I've never been reer ended before, this was so much fun haha. We good though, no bruises, just a few dings and dents and scratches on our car. You should have seen the other guy though lol. We pulled off of the free way, got his info, and said a prayer with him, he was a dawg. We gonna laugh about this in heaven for real no cap. ...

Catholic Priests And Saving People From Burning Cars

Image
Hello there, (if you know that quote your a g) What a week in the liahona ward, holy crap. Things have been nuts, in a fantastic way. From getting bashed by a catholic priest, to saving someone from a car fire, to getting a new comp that may be a bigger star wars fan than me, to the popeyes chicken sandwich, things have been good, yuh yuh yuh. Numero Uno: We went to a Tongan party at a catholic church this week, we got invited to it by our members. We thought it would be a great chance to get some member trust and meet some tongans! Well, the dinner started super late, like 3 hours late, that's tongan time. We sat at our table for 40 minutes and decided we needed to walk around and meet people. So we made it our goal to talk to every single person at the party and introduce ourselves. It was awesome, the tongan people are so kind! We got to the last person at the party, and it was the catholic priest. We said "Hello!", and he said "what are you doing". He then s...

Hello everyone and welcome to my weekly email!  Today has been the longest P-day of the entire mission. Last week, while plyaing basketball, my companion decided it would be funny to stand right where I was jumping and make me roll my ankle of his foot, not nice fr fr. JK, not his fault, he's a dawg. Since then I have been recovering though, it's pretty purple and bruised but we still running up that missionary work! No ball today though so I have had so much free time today to just sit around, yuh!  This was a great week. We started the week off with a Liahona ward father's day party, that was a blast. The food was great and the tongan people know how to party, that was a blast. The old heads of the ward were dancing the most and the longest, I did not know they were brazy like that.  I also had interviews this week, I love my mission President. He is the best. I would not want anyone else to be my mission president, he is a dawg, woof woof.  We had an awesome mirac...

Welcome everyone to my weekly email! I've been sitting in my chair for a few minutes now thinking back on the week on what to share, usually revelation flows, but it's not comming. Honestly, not much happened this week haha. Here we go! Yuhh!  Exchanges: I got to go on a exchange in Hmong work this week! Yay! Hmong is like the rarest mission language you could be called to speak, we have them in our mission, in fact, I live with 2 Hmong elders! I got to spend a day in Hmong work. It was so much fun. I had no idea what was going on, or how to help in lessons, but it was so brazy. I got told my some Hmong people that I need to learn there language, and they just roasted for for a few minutes in there language because my comp spoke it but not me, this is what my comp told me haha. L'S. Anyways, I love English and it's so hype.  The work: The work is crazy. Literally nothing makes sense in language work. The Tongan ward is so messy but is also so much fun. The members are s...

Malo e Leili! Welcome to the weely email everybody, please forgive me for not sending an email in a while. I am the worst and will try to do better. THINGS HAVE BEEN BUSY! I am in my new area, the liahona ward, and I am loving it. The Tongan people are the most amazing people ever, they are so kind and generous and seriously take care of us. They are all dawgs, woof woof. Today was a good day, we woke up at 5 o'clock to go golfing with our mission president. This was officially the most stressful day of the mission haha. Wow, I had a terrible game of golf but we had fun. Lost like 10 balls, only hit it onto the fairway like 5 times, usually it was the wrong fairway, and I have my name written on every sand pit because I was in all of them. I went with two other elders and we all lost to him, he's pretty good at golf haha. If he played fortnite he'd be getting #1 victory royales constantly with his skill level for real. Tongans know how to party. We went to a party the other...

Hello and welcome to the weekly email. Let's begin. I am officially out of the Folsom lake YSA....literally want to flipping cry. Imma miss this place, I have loved it here. Now I am onto my next adventure, and that is a serious amount of weight gain. I am going to a tongan ward, aka, the Liahona ward. I will also be covering sac city YSA as well. The Liahona ward is known for making elders get fat. There is a weight gain board in the apartment to see who gains the most weight, I am not sure what the record is, but a previous elder gained 45lbs in 6 months...please pray with faith with me. I need help, let's not let that be me. This is one of the most coveted areas in the mission and the ward takes care of there missionaries, they feed them, alot..I am so excited though! Next, thanks for all the birthday wishes! It was such a hype birthday. We got to go out with some YSA's Saturday night at a nice restaurant and they paid for us! Shout out to Justin and Lilly, they are dawg...
