Yo! What is up y'all? Welcome back to my weekly email once again. If your new here, I usually do a weekly update on my weight loss program, sometimes un-intentional weight gain program, miracles, and much more. This week has been an amazing week. We saw so many miracles and had made memories. To start, we did exchanges this week. It was super fun. I got to do them with Elder Warren, he is a dawg. We visited a crap ton of people and were determined to teach someone new that day. We started teaching a hype dude named chase who played college baseball. We had a great connection and he was a dawg. I also got to see a cyber truck, I got pictures with it, so that was hype. Those trucks are lowkey a pinewood derby car and I love it haha. We also ate a box of pizza each from little ceasars for lunch and a huge dinner. I broke my cut for real that day. I also did 5 hours of service this week. 4 of those being in one day. There are a bunch of trails up and down the dense forest hills and we ...

Welcome everyone to my weekly email! This was a great week, for real! The miracles just keep coming, and so is the joy in the mission field. There were so many good things that happened this week, and probably the coolest thing yet on the mission happened this week.  As far as the crazy stuff goes, it went from snowing like crazy to being 80 degrees outside all week. It was so nice to be in the sun finally. My companion and I do all our studies outside and sit in the sun. My companion tans so easily, but I, on the other hand, just burn, so that's a loss. To translate for the older people who don't understand my lingo (mom and dad), you gave me horrible genetics where I am super white and only burn, so it sucks, haha. Love you, mom and dad. Also, my companion and I got almost 6 hours of service in this week. I was taking, on average, two showers a day because we were working hard, haha. Also, my new dad, Brother Almendariz (Pa), taught me an incredible way to eat PB&J's....

This was a absolutely hype week! I saw so many miracles and I saw so much Joy in the work this week. For all of you reading for my weight loss journey -(Kelsey)- I did not lose weight this week, in fact I gained weight because of my easter package so that was a L haha.   My favorite part of the week was exchanges. I got to do exchanges with my Zone Leader and it was so good. I had to lead out the area so he made me do most of the talking. This is a change for me because I'm used to letting my companion carry me and do most of the talking. We saw miracles! The first miracle was with our friend Marci. We met with her, shared a great message from Elder Uchtdorfs talk about joy, and then I invited her to be baptized. When I was studying that morning I felt like today was the day to invite her, but I was only going to if the spirit prompted me to in the lesson. She broght up baptism and had questions relating to it. I answered them and then asked her to prepare to be baptized. She ...

Hot Dogs

If I've learned anything on my mission, it's that I don't know how to cook, or at least I'm too lazy to try! I've had hot dogs for lunch and sometimes dinner every day for the last week because I had no clue what to buy. But this P-Day, I'll have to buy some real food for a change. Other than the hot dogs, it was a great week! We saw lots of miracles. Every single person we're teaching made progress this week. We had great lessons with them, and they're keeping commitments! The first miracle was with our friend Eboni. We had a lesson with her, and she's been reading the Book of Mormon. We also started teaching her niece, which is awesome! But then she blocked our number the next day... we knocked on her door regaurdless and talked about the Plan of Salvation. Her uncle just died that morning and so things were hard for her. She loved our message and scheduled for us to come over again in two days.  She's sending some crazy mixed signals for real!...

Yoo! Another wild week on the mission. So much crazy stuff has been going on. Each week has been flying by and it so crazy that I've been on the mission for almost three months now for real!  The first crazy thing of the week is that we got snow again. It just wont leave us alone. Also, me and my companion installed a fire alarm in our apartment after a whole transfer of being pestered to do it, so that was hype haha.  The easter program went great this sunday! The practice was a complete train wreck but some how it turned out really good haha. Me and my companion were the whole show becasue we had like 10 speaking parts almost. For easter dinner we went to our bishops home. We ate delicouse food and did a easter egg hunt haha. We got so many eggs. We tried to dump them and run so the kids could have them but they chased us down while we were driving away and thorugh a bunch in our truck bed. Dang truck bed! Those kids are trying to make me gain weight, I gained a pound this w...
